Hello,

My name is Varol Öndoğan. I completed my university education in Electrical Engineering in Istanbul. For 32 years, I have been performing engineering, management, and leadership roles in the energy sector within companies I founded, partnered with, or acquired.

My area of expertise is ensuring that the products required at energy production, transmission, distribution, control, and consumption points reach these locations accurately and on time. My deep specialization lies in creating alternative distribution channels for diverse customer profiles. To date, I have established and managed organizations and companies to deliver products from the world’s leading brands to Turkey’s strongest and most valuable corporations; and I continue to lead these structures today.

I pen these lines with the reflection of the many years that have passed since we took our first step. Neither I nor Vekmar are the same as we were 32 years ago. Time has taught me this: No structure can reach its desired goal where individual growth does not serve the whole and where discipline is not aligned with the objective. This is why we do not seek greatness in the cold arithmetic of numbers; we find it in the warmth of the lives we touch, the impact we create, and the depth of the legacy we leave behind.

The routes we have charted to reach our goals may not always have seemed sufficient or rational to outside observers. However, I believe that in a process where one does not step out of their comfort zone and push boundaries, there can be no talk of true competence or a free mind. In this ecosystem where our companies support one another with the philosophy that "one hand washes the other," we do not value the shallow allure of temporary gains or accumulated capital; instead, we value the richness brought by diversity, the transformative power of innovation, the dignity of labor, and the integrity of character.

We have had countless commercial partners; some added value when they entered our lives, and some when they left. We learned from both. At this stage, our vision is clear: To transform sectoral expertise into strategic intelligence to create lasting value, and to advance shoulder to shoulder with those who wish to walk this path. Our door is open to everyone; however, our priority is always vision partnerships that can cross this threshold of values.
