Personal Data Processing and Protection Policy and Disclosure Statement
1- Introduction:
The right to the protection of personal data is recognized as a fundamental human right under Article 8 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and Article 16 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. In addition, personal data is regulated under Article 20 of the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye titled “Privacy of Private Life” and is included among fundamental rights. Due to this importance, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) was published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016, in order to protect fundamental rights and freedoms, especially the privacy of private life, and to regulate the obligations of natural and legal persons processing personal data as well as the procedures and principles to be followed.
2- Purpose and Scope:
As VEKMAR, we attach importance to ensuring that the processes of protection, processing, and transfer of personal data are carried out in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and relevant legislation (“KVKK”). Therefore, we take the necessary measures and fulfill our responsibilities to ensure that personal data processing activities are conducted in accordance with KVKK.
This Disclosure Statement has been prepared by Vekmar Electrical Systems Investment and Trade Inc. (“VEKMAR”), acting as the data controller, in order to provide explanations regarding the processing and transfer of personal data in compliance with KVKK and to inform and enlighten the relevant persons.
Within the scope of this disclosure statement, the data controller refers to the legal entity responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data and for establishing and managing the data recording system. In this context, the data controller is VEKMAR. (“MERSIS No: 0924024153700018”).

Your personal data is processed based on the legal grounds stated under “Article 2 – Purpose and Scope”. KVKK Article 5/2 lists the legal bases for processing personal data. Our company processes personal data only within these legal bases and does not carry out any processing outside this scope.
